Terra Nostra Costruzioni provides comprehensive renovation and construction services in Sicily, including:

• Architectural and engineering coordination

Service Area

Our services are available throughout Sicily, with primary operations in Palermo, Catania, Taormina, Siracusa, Ragusa, Noto, Cefalù, and Trapani.

Quotation Process

All renovation projects begin with a detailed quotation. Our quotes include:

• Scope of work description
• Material specifications
• Timeline estimates
• Cost breakdown
• Payment schedule

Acceptance

A binding contract is formed when you accept our written quotation in writing (email or signed document) and provide the required deposit. Verbal agreements are not binding.

Payment Schedule

Standard payment terms for renovation projects:

• 30% deposit upon contract signing
• 30% at project midpoint (structural completion)
• 30% upon substantial completion
• 10% final payment upon project handover

Payment Methods

We accept bank transfers (SEPA), credit cards, and other methods as agreed in writing. All payments should be made in Euros (EUR).

Late Payments

Late payments may incur interest at the rate specified in the contract. Persistent non-payment may result in work suspension until accounts are settled.

Timeline

Project timelines are estimates based on normal working conditions. Delays may occur due to:

• Permit processing times
• Weather conditions
• Unforeseen structural issues
• Material availability
• Client-requested changes

Changes and Variations

Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be documented in writing. Additional work will be quoted separately and may affect the project timeline and cost.

Site Access

Clients must ensure we have appropriate access to the property during working hours. Any access restrictions must be communicated in advance.

Workmanship Warranty

We provide a 2-year warranty on workmanship from the date of project completion. This covers defects in construction work performed by our team.

Material Warranties

Materials carry their manufacturer's warranty. We will assist in processing any warranty claims for materials we supply.

Limitations

Our liability is limited to the contract value. We are not liable for:

• Pre-existing structural defects not identified in initial assessment
• Damage caused by client modifications after completion
• Normal wear and tear
• Force majeure events
• Consequential or indirect losses

Client Cancellation

If you cancel before work begins, you may forfeit part or all of the deposit depending on costs already incurred. Cancellation during construction requires payment for all completed work and materials ordered.

Our Right to Terminate

We may terminate the contract if:

• Payments are significantly overdue
• The project becomes legally impossible
• Client conduct makes continuation unreasonable
• Force majeure prevents completion

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sicily, Italy.

Mediation

Before initiating legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through mediation in accordance with Italian civil procedure.

All content on our website, including text, images, designs, and logos, is owned by Terra Nostra Costruzioni or our licensors and is protected by copyright laws.

Project Documentation

Architectural drawings and project documentation created for your project become your property upon full payment. We retain the right to use anonymized project photos for marketing purposes unless you object in writing.
